Lifeline Scientific

Annual Report 2009

We enjoyed working with Lifeline Scientific, the Chicago-based medical technology company, which are structured around two business units; Organ Recovery Systems and Cell & Tissue Systems.

2009 was a milestone year for Lifeline Scientific and we wanted to elaborate that on the 1st January 2009: the results of a landmark study, the Machine Preservation Trial (MPT), were published in The New England Journal of Medicine. The study demonstrated that using LifePort to preserve and transport kidneys for transplantation offered significant benefits when compared to the traditional ice-box method.

The main request that the client had was to have the LifePort as their main focus point for their annual report and what better way than to achieve this, was by having the LifePort as the cover. We used soft blues, greens and grey tones tied together with a bubble design to reflect the medical look and feel this worked well.

The company is currently researching and developing their products so watch this space!
