Marketing graphics

Following a competitive pitch, 85FOUR were commissioned to ‘Olympic-ize’ the Telegraph headquarters building on Buckingham Palace Road, London.

Using the official 2012 Olympic icons as the starting point, we created a ‘Telegraph mascot’ using elements of the Telegraph font and illustrated it for various different sports and events, including the paralympics. Coloured stripes were then applied to the illustrations to give them a feeling of movement, making them more dynamic.

The Sky Lobby was the first area they wanted us to look at and the Olympic graphics applied have made the area feel larger, fresher and more contemporary. Everything done to date has been extremely well received amongst employees and visitors to the building and the next phase of the project is already underway.
