Our approach

We work in partnership with our clients to ensure we give them the materials they need to achieve their objectives. To enable us to do this, we have created a working method which we use, in varying degrees, for every project – from an eight-page brochure to the global rollout of a new brand.

Understanding

As a consultancy-led business, before we embark on any project – corporate, branding or property marketing – we take the time and make the effort to research the business environment, look at the competition, and assess the issues.


Thinking

This understanding, combined with our experience, enables us to assess all the needs and eventualities in working with the client to confirm a brief.


Creating

The fun bit! Our in-house design and copywriting team brings the thinking to life – and we never forget that the solution has to meet the brief. We treat each brief individually (no templates or “off-the-shelf” short-cuts). The only way of identifying that it’s an 85four project is the quality of the end product.

Making

We set all artwork in-house and proof read everything we produce for accuracy and consistency. We also commission and art direct photography and illustration, buy and manage web build, print and mailing, and source specialist services, such as data feeds. We work with a number of preferred partners (we check quality and service regularly), but we are happy to work with clients’ existing suppliers. Either way, we build a strong relationship with them, wherever they are in the world, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget.


Supporting

When a project is complete, we think it is important to sit down with our clients to discuss the brief, the process and the outcome. This helps us all to see if there is room for improvement and to strengthen the working relationship.

Our aim, always, is to build long-term partnerships with our clients so that we can continue to advise them on projects – branding, corporate print and web development, and property marketing.
